Class
Proiectul Class a fost creat in toamna anului 1994. Frate si sora, Vlad si Mihaela Cernea, impreuna cu Mihaela Florea si Florin Cojocaru si-au ales numele “Class” ca o declaratie de credinta adusa muzicii dance de calitate.
Primul lor album, “Raspuns”, a rostit primele versuri din povestea ce avea sa fie muzica dance romaneasca, deschizand de asemenea si primul capitol al etno-danceului cu melodia “A Dui Doina”.
In anul 2001, dupa lansarea celui de al treilea album de studio, “Hipnotizat”, un material inovator in care electro-popul se intalneste cu danceul si rockul, Mihaela Florea decide sa paraseasca formatia. Anca Badiu a fost cea care i-a luat locul iar odata cu venirea ei formatia a cunoscut un nou sir de succese: de la hituri spectaculoase la premii si concerte, Class parea de ne oprit. Doua albume de succes mai tarziu (“Pentru Dragoste” 2004 si “Evo” 2005), Anca s-a hotarat sa paraseasca la randul ei formatia in favoarea unei cariere solo.
2010 este anul unei noi reveniri in forta pentru trio. Cu un nou single, “Legal” si un nou contract cu Roton, Class este pregatit sa cucereasca inca o data topurile!
Cu un look fresh si natural, la inceputul verii CLASS va ofera motiv de petrecere, lansand cel mai nou single, ‘Painter of my Soul’. Piesa este o compozitie a intregii trupe, adica a Mihaelei, a lui Florin, Vlad si WiseNoize si spune o poveste de dragoste, pe ritmuri electrizante de club si sound-uri noi, emanand in anumite pasaje o aroma de melancolie.

In the fall of 1994, four enthusiasts were laying the foundation of a new musical project – Class. Brother and sister, Vlad and Mihaela Cernea, together with Mihaela Florea and Florin Cojocaru chose carefully when it came to naming their project, and “Class” seemed to be the perfect option, as it declares their pledge to create a “classy” dance music.
In the year 1996, the four released their first album, compelling two national novelties in one – “A Dui Doina” was the first ethno-dance song launched and the album itself was the first Romanian dance issue.
In 2001, after the release of their third album, “Hipnotizat”, an innovating material featuring a fusion of electro-pop, rock and dance, Mihaela Florea decided to leave the band. Anca Badiu was the one that filled the empty spot and with her came a new row of successes: from spectacular number ones to awards and loud concerts, they seemed to have it all. Two successful albums later (“Pentru Dragoste” 2004 and “Evo” 2005) Anca decided to leave the band herself and pursue a solo career.
2010 is the year of the comeback for the trio. With a new hit single, “Legal”, and a new record deal with Roton, Class is ready to take on the charts once more!
