Connect-R
Connect-R este un artist complet, jucand de-a lungul carierei rolul de cantaret, compozitor, actor, prezentator TV, dansator sau producator. A intrat pentru prima data in atentia romanilor in anul 1997 ca vocalist si mai tarziu membru cu drepturi depline al formatiei hip-hop RACLA. Dupa parasirea primului proiect, Connect-R a devenit cel mai solicitat colaborator muzical, lucrand alaturi de vedete ca Loredana, Arsenium sau Simona Nae si aducand de fiecare data aroma sa specifica de R’n’B condimentat cu rap Jamaican.
Albumul solo de debut al artistului a fost lansat de Roton la sfarsitul anului 2008. Purtand numele primului single, “Daca Dragostea Dispare”, albumul este un melaj de soul, R’n’B, reggae si hip-hop. Pentru conceperea lui, artistul a lucrat mai mult de doi ani alaturi de personalitati muzicale ca Smiley, Alex, Matteo si Don Baxter. Melodia ce a dat titlul albumului este rezultatul unei colaborari cu Alex, o balada impregnata cu arome de soul.
Urmatoarele singleuri lansate au fost “Burning Love” si “Still”. Cu un sound puternic si miscari de o coregrafie incendiara, melodiile au devenit hiturile absolute ale verii.
Trecut prin ucenicia colaborarilor, Connect-R a devenit un artist cu drepturi depline, fiecare aparitie a sa fiind promisiunea unei evolutii temerare.

Connect-R is an all- around entertainer – singer, songwriter, actor, TV presenter, dancer, producer, he is all these and more. He first came to the attention of Romanian listeners as a guest vocalist and then full time member of hip-hop outfit RACLA in 1997. After leaving RACLA, Connect-R became the most in demand featured artist, working with some of the most celebrated Romanian artists and a few new-comers: Loredana, Arsenium or Simona Nae adding each song his signature Jamaican-style rap and R’n’B flavors.
Time went by to Connect-R’s advantage and his eagerly anticipated solo debut was released by Roton at the end of 2008. Named after the first single “Daca dragostea dispare”, the album is a combination of soul, R’n’B, reggae and, of course, hip-hop. The artist worked on it for more than two years and collaborated with such artists and producers as Smiley, Alex, Matteo and Don Baxter. The title track from the album was a soul infused ballad, a featuring with Alex.
To shake up things a bit and pump some adrenaline, Connect-R released “Burning Love”, his second single, only to be followed by “Still”. With a fresh sound and some well-choreographed moves the singles became THE hits of the summer.
Soon after the beginning of 2011 and the conclusion of another series of collaborations, this incredibly prolific artist launched his new fiery hit-to-be ‘Ring the Alarm’. The single promises to rule the club scene for the summer to come with its sexy sax vibes and profound voice.
With international hits and concerts and a very special style, the king of features proved that he is an artist in his own right and the good things are bursting to get off his sleeve. Just you watch!
