Mihai Traistariu

Mihai Traistariu este un cantaret Roman, celebru pentru calitatile sale vocale de exceptie. A reprezentat Romania la Eurovision 2006 cu piesa Tornero, ocupand locul al-3-lea. La scurt timp, melodia a devenit un mare succes, aducandu-i lui Mihai nenumarate premii, trofee si concerte in toata lumea, din Grecia pana in Suedia si Islanda.

Pentru confirmarea calitatilor sale vocale exceptionale (5 octave si o terta), Mihai a fost testat si certificat de catre expertii Guiness Book. Concluzia unanima a fost aceea ca Mihai Traistariu este singurul om din lume ce poate atinge o gama vocala de 5 octave si o terta! Pana la acel moment, singurul record aprobat era cel al lui Mariah Carey, cu 5 octave si jumatate.

Mihai a lansat 20 de singleuri si 11 albume in Romania. Unele dintre cele mai cunoscute hituri ale sale sunt “Tornero”, “Dimmi si o No”, “Your love is High”, “Puerto Rico” si “J t’aime”.

Anul 2010 a venit cu o surpriza placuta din partea sa, odata cu un Best Of, Mihai Traistariu lansand si un album de cantece traditionale Romanesti.

Mihai Trăistariu is a Romanian singer and musician. He represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song ”Tornero“ and came 3rd. Very soon after, Tornero became a great success and brought Mihai awards, festival trophies and concerts all over the world, from Greece to Sweden and Iceland.

Mihai has a university degree in mathematics but decided to pursue a singing career. For stretching his exceptional vocal (5 octaves and a third), Mihai was invited, tested and certified by Guinness Book Tv Show specialists. Their conclusion was that Mihai Traistariu is the only man in the world with a vocal range of 5 octaves and a third ! Until then, the only approved record belonged to singer Mariah Carey: 5 octaves and a half.

He has released twenty singles and eleven albums in Romania. Some of the most well-known singles are: ”Tornero”, ”Dimmi si o no”, ”Your love is high”, ”Puerto Rico” and ”Je t’aime“.

In 2010 he released a “Best Of” album and for the first time a traditional Romanian songs album, which already is very appreciated by his fans.
