The Marker

In luna ianuarie a anului 2008, fostii colegi de trupa Paul Mates (voce, chitara) si Andrei Prodan (backing vocals, bas), impreuna cu bateristul Octav Capota, au format foarte promitatorul proiect rock The Marker. Spre sfarsitul aceluiasi an, prietenul lui Octav, Claudiu Ursache (chitara solo), a completat formula incipienta a formatiei.

Bucurandu-se deja de fani dedicati si de concerte de succes, The Marker au castigat pana acum doua premii muzicale de prestigiu – “Battle of the Bands” in cadrul competitiei organizate de Hard Rock Cafe si Cerbul de Argint in cadrul festivalului International Cerbul de Aur.

In January 2008, ex band colleagues Paul Mates (lead vocals, guitar) and Andrei Prodan (backing vocals, bass) together with drummer Octav Capota, formed the very promising rock infused band The Marker. Later that year Octav’s friend, solo guitar Claudiu Ursache joined the band and completed their incipient formula.

With a dedicated fan base and very successful concert venues, The Marker won so far two prestigious local awards, Hard Rock Café’s “Battle of the Bands” and “The Silver Tag” at the Golden Tag Festival, one of the most important festivals in south-eastern Europe.
