In urma unei cariere de succes ca DJ in Romania, Tom Boxer a plecat in anul 2000 catre Londra, unde avea sa lucreze ca DJ si producator pentru faimosul studio Plastic Fantastik.
In anul 2005 Tom s-a intors in tara, determinat sa devina producator muzical. In acelasi an, casa de discuri Roton i-a lansat un prim album – “Caciula p’o ureche” – hit instant. Incepand de la chitara sa, Tom Boxer a evoluat intr-un muzician foarte versatil, experimentand cu genuri de la folk la rock, de la disco la industrial, de la hip hop la rave si pop.
Revelatia care l-a propulsat in fruntea clasamentelor muzicale a venit insa in timpul unui concert al Ancai Parghel. Cei doi au intrat in studio inregistrand nu o melodie ci un intreg album, lansand astfel “Zamorena” in martie 2008. Melodiile sunt o combinatie intre soul si muzica de club, ritmurile inedite sustinand vocea Ancai Parghel intr-un mod ce frizeaza magicul. Primul single, Zamorena, a fost un real succes, urmat de Brasil, hitul absolut al verii 2008 atat in Romania cat si in tari ca Rusia, Bulgaria, Spania sau Franta.
Urmatoarele singleuri, “A Beautiful Day” si “Morena” au devenit de asemenea hituri atat in tara cat si in afara ei.

After a career of radio DJ-ing in Romania, Tom Boxer left for London in the year 2000 where he worked as a DJ and producer for Plastic Fantastik.
In 2005 he came back to Romania, determined to become a music producer and in the same year ROTON released his first album “Caciula p’o ureche”, an instant hit. Starting with just his guitar, Tom Boxer grew up to be a very versatile musician, experimenting with genres from folk to rock, from disco to industrial, from hip-hop to rave and pop.
While attending one of Anca Parghel’s shows, Cosmin fell in love with her music and suggested that they collaborate. The chemistry in the studio was incredible, so they decided to record not only a song but an entire record. That’s how the album „Zamorena”, released in march 2008, was born. The record is a combination between soul and club music, blending some interesting and fresh beats with Anca Parghel’s amazing voice. The first single Zamorena was a real success, followed by Brasil, the song that we can definitely call the smash hit of the summer 2008 in Romania and abroad, crossing over to Russia, Bulgaria, Spain and France.
The next singles “A Beautiful Day”, “Dancing” and “Morena” were smash hits in Romania and over boarders, being appreciated at their fullest from Bucharest to Dubai, from Paris to Milan! “Morena” is a hit that keeps on climbing chart positions, more than one year after its release.
2010 was a very productive year for him, with concerts all over the world, hitting stages from clubs to international dance festivals, from Europe to Asia. 2011 just began and Tom already launched a series of singles, DJ collaborations with incredibly powerful female voices. Hits such as ‘I Feel You’, ‘Crazy Girl’ and ‘Obsession’, all of them featuring Alexandra Blake, became international chart toppers short after their release.
A very talented DJ, fresh and upbeat musical producer, video and photo artist, Tom Boxer is definitely a complete artist that still has a lot to explore in the musical business, so, dance scene, Watch out!
