Anul 2008 a fost unul foarte prolific in ceea ce priveste noi nume in muzica romanesca : genul clubbing a fost adus pe radio de INNA dar si de MORRIS. Dar cine este MORRIS? MORRIS este un tanar absolvent al Facultatii de Actorie, care iubeste tot ce insemna arta. Talentul sau actoricesc a fost evidentiat in sitcomul La BLOC dar si si in serialul BAIETI BUNI. De asemenea, MORRIS se poate lauda si cu o aparitie in filmul TRIUNGHIUL MORTII in regia lui Sergiu Nicolaescu.
Indragostit de muzica, MORRIS a activat ca DJ in diverse cluburi din Bucuresti timp de 4 ani reusind sa isi faca numeroase prietenii in randul artistilor. Prietenia a capatat o conotatie profesionala in 2008 cand impreuna cu baietii de la PLAY & WIN a intrat in studio; cei trei compozitori nascuti in Alba Iulia, cantonati in Constanta care au “speriat” Europa cu piesele “Hot” INNA si “Slow Motion” au realizat primul single MORRIS „ Till The Moning Light” . Piesa, lansata de Casa de discuri ROTON in vara 2008, la scurt timp de la aparitie, a devenit hit in cluburi si pe radio.
Dorind sa demonstreze ca nu este un artist cu un singur single , la inceputul anului 2009 MORRIS a lansat un nou single « Desire « . « Desire » beneficiaza si de un videoclip care ni-l prezinta pe artist in dubla calitate: cantaret si DJ.
Succesul celor doua single-uri, « Till The Morning Light » si « Desire » i-au adus lui MORRIS numeroase evenimente, prestatia sa fiind unanim laudata. Pentru vara 2009, MORRIS promite un single cel putin la fel de tare ca precedentele.
MORRIS un nume care promite pe termen lung.

2008 can be considered a prolific year for the Romanian music, but somewhere between sea of catchy tunes released that year, a true star was born. The producers from Play & Win had a recipe for succes and were not afraid to use it – clubbing was brought to the radio through the music of MORRIS.
But who is MORRIS? MORRIS is a young Theater Academy graduate who loves art and beauty. He proved his acting talent in a sitcom called “La Bloc” and the mini-series “Good Guys”. MORRIS can also praise himself with a special appearance in the movie Death Triangle directed by Sergiu Nicolaescu.
Being completely addicted to making music, MORRIS worked as a DJ in a few clubs in Bucharest for 4 years, managing to make many friends among the way. One of this friendships developed into a successful work relationship in 2008, when he joined forces with the extremely talented producers from PLAY & WIN. Play & Win are the three composers born in Alba Iulia, quartered in Constanta that enslaved the European Charts with Inna’s singles “Hot” and “Love”.
In the summer of 2008, ROTON released the first single MORRIS – “Till The Moning Light”. Shortly after it’s release, “Till The Morning Light” became a hit both in clubs and on the radio.
After an explosive debute, MORRIS wanted to prove that he is so much more than a “one-hit-wonder”, so in the early 2009 he released a new single called “Desire”. The song’s video was truly a visual treat, featuring quite a few beautiful girls; in the video MORRIS was able to show off his versatility: both as a singer and a DJ. “Desire” became a smash hit and it managed to exceed the romanian boarders, being broadcasted by radio stations from Russia, Poland and Spain.
The success of the his two singles, “Till The Morning Light” and “Desire” established MORRIS as an artist and his performance has been unanimous praise both by critics and by the public.
MORRIS, a name that comes with the promice of great things!
