RADIO KILLER

In sept 2009 un nou proiect a zguduit topurile muzicale romanesti; cu un nume neconventional & sound innovator, dublate de versuri pline de profunzime, RADIO KILLER a devenit la scurt timp de la aparitie cel mai bun proiect muzical de debut al anului 2009. Primul single RADIO KILLER “Voila” a fost super hit pe radiourile romanesti, fiind recompensat in cadrul Romanian Music Awards cu premiul pentru “DEBUTUL ANULUI” . Piesa “Voila” conform Nilesen Media Reserch, baraometrul de masurare a audientelor radio –tv, a fost cea mai difuzata piesa romanesca timp de 21 de saptamani consective.

RADIO KILLER reprezinta proiectul produs de Smiley si colegii sai de la studioul HAHAHA Production.

Lansarea single-ului “Voila” a coincis cu lansarea campaniei de dezvaluirea a identitatii proiectului, publicul fiind provocat sa raspunda la intrebarea “ cine sunt RADIO KILLER?”. Dupa multe zvonuri legate de identitatea membrilor trupei, componentii proiectului au fost demascati unul cate unul.

La scurt timp de la debut, RADIO KILLER au spart granitele tarii, piesa “Voila” fiind difuzata pe radiouri din Rusia, Ucraina, Germania, Austria, Elevetia, Grecia, Italia, Turcia, Ucraina. “Voila” a fost in topul preferintelor radiourilor rusesti, doua saptamani la rand fiind NO 1 in topul difuzat de Europa Plus. Rusii s-au indragostit de versurile triste ale piesei, videoclipul avand o contributie majora la succesul piesei.

In vara 2010, RADIO KILLER au lansat un nou single “Be Free”, o piesa catchy, un adevarat imn al verii

RADIO KILLER inseamna:

➢ SMILEY – dupa cinci album de top cu trupa Simplu, un album solo, recompensat cu numeroase premii muzicale ca artist si compoitor, Smiley este fara indoila unul dintre cei mai importanti artisti romani ai momentului. Smiley este producatorul general al proiectului RK dar si vocea care da o savoare speciala fiecarei piese RADIO KILLER.

➢ DJ PAUL DAMIXIE – la doar 21 de ani, Paul Damixie are déjà un CV impresionat ca Dj, mixand alaturi de Echoman, Hybrid, Andy Fletcher, Outwork, Camile Jones, NTFO si multi altii. Alaturi de Smiley, Paul Damixie sunt front- mani proiectului RK. Paul este responsabilul cu mix-urile din show si cel care face publicul sa vibreze pe sound-ul de club.

In September 2009 a new musical project broke the Romanian charts. With an unconventional name & innovative sound, supported by the lyrics full of depth, RADIO KILLER became the best debut project of 2009.

RADIO KILLER’s first single, “Voila“ was a hit single in Romania, the rating measurement system developed by Nielsen Media Research showed that “Voila” was the most broadcasted song in Romania in the past 21 weeks, being supported by radio stations and music tv stations.

RADIO KILLER is the studio project produced by Smiley and his team from HaHaHaProduction.
In addition to the single “Voila”, RADIO KILLER also got the public’s attention with the campaign “who is Radio Killer?“. After a lot of rumours regarding Radio Killer’s identity, the members of the group are being revealed one by one one.

KILLER 1:

➢ Smiley: After 5 top-selling albums with his band called, Simplu, one album as a solo artist (with 4 number 1 hit singles), awards in leading Music Awards Categories as an artist and songwriter and two movies, Smiley is undoubtedly the ultimate pop star in Romania. Smiley is the producer of Radio Killer and the voice from “Voila”, also being the one responsable for the catchy and melodic refrains.

THE REAL KILLER:

➢ DJ Paul Damixie: At just 21 years old, Paul Damixie has already an impressive CV as a DJ, performing next to Echoman, Hybrid, Andy Fletcher (Depeche Mode), Outwork, Camille Jones, NTFO, and so on. Paul Damixie is the DJ and the front man of Radio Killer. His mission is to create electric mixes and bring them to the crowd in the shows.

KILLER 6:

➢ Alex: With his vocal abilities, dynamic sound, dancing and acting skills, his exotic look and physical shape, Alex has instantly won the love of the audience. His music is a mix of R&B, hip­hop and pop and is described by theartist as being a way to express his life experience and feelings.
Alex brings R&B influences to RADIO KILLER tracks.

KILLER 5:

➢ Boogie Man is the alter ego of Don Baxter – known by the audience as being one of the most important rappers in Romania.
Having a rich background as a producer of rap, hip-hop and R&B projects, Boogie Man is the beat creator for RADIO KILLER.

KILLER 4:

➢ Karie is known as a hip-hop artist and producer being the one who’s bringing the groove in the project.

KILLER 3

➢ CellBlock is a very talented hip-hop DJ. He is the one who’s creating the electric beats for RADIO KILLER

➢ EleFunk: Known into the music industry as a keyboard player, Elefunk is the one who’s doing the harmonic part of RADIO KILLER’s music.
