Wanda entered the showbiz with great impact in the year 2000, as the first female Romanian DJ. Her charisma and confident attitude pushed Wanda into television, becoming shortly one of the most popular Romanian VJs. Her collaborations as a DJ and also as a producer, opened the way for Wanda to prove her talent internationally.

Fascinated by music sincetheageof 8, Wanda studiedbass-guitar and classical singing. In the year 2000 she managed to put into shape her original ideas, becoming the first female DJ in Romania.

The talent confirmation as a DJ is given by the important names that Wanda worked with: Deep Dish, John Digweed, Carl Cox, Lee Burridge, ChrisGayner, Hybrid, Danny Howellsandsoon.

Wanda’s interest in music industry, rounded by her outgoing character and natural style recommended her for TV productions. While VJ for MTV Romania, Wanda interviewed leading music industry talents and top international DJ’s and became easily one of the viewer’s favorites. As a TV host, Wanda collaborated with the following stations: MTV, A3tv –Miami, ANTENA 1, EUFORIA TV.

The year 2010 finds Wanda facing a new challenge: the first album as a singer. The sound of the album is synth-pop with strong influences of British electro-pop/dance. With Smiley’s input as a producer on her upcoming album, Wanda wishes to make her mark on the music industry as an original and strong female artist. Besides the clothing style,the urban image of the artist (glamrock) is given by the subliminal messages in the lyrics, messages that are sustained by a remarkable voice.

The single Wanna Be Loved will be released on the radio in Romania and UK simultaneously. Wanda first single I Wanna Be Loved is a statement for Wanda’s urban sound and look. The video was shot in London, opening a series of videos set only in glamorous cities of the world.

Wanda has been appreciated for her bold look and choice of outfits from the beginning of her public appearances. The media outlined without exception her fashion style: Wanda was the host of a fashion & lifestyle production on Euforia TV and was voted as celeb I would most love to go shopping with.
As a consequence to her notorious appearance, in 2010 Wanda signed an endorsement deal with Diesel
Romania.

De când era mică îi plăcea să cante şi să danseze, manifestându-şi talentul la doar cinci ani. Familia, dar mai ales bunicul apreciindu-i calităţile vocale i-a adus in dar o pianină dar şi un profesor, şi astfel incepe evoluţia ei muzicală.

A absolvit Şcoala Populară de Artă, secţia canto, la clasa prof. Ioan Ona care i-a şi compus prima ei piesă. Acolo i-a avut colegi pe Bogdan Negroiu ( El Negro) Monica Mândrescu( Moni-k) Irina Nicolae ( Asia ).

La 11 ani participă la preselecţia festivalului „Steaua Prahovei”, interpretând melodia Sandei Ladoşi „ Când vine seara” primind aprecieri din partea juriului, neputând insă intra in concurs datorită vârstei.

In 1997 inregistrează a doua melodie compusă de Dinu Giurgiu „O noapte se transformă in zi” cu care participă la emisiunea „ Feriţi-vă de măgăruş” alături de actorul Eugen Cristea.

La 14 ani naistul Cătălin Târcolea compune primul ei album cu 9 piese, promovând melodia „Timpul meu” printr-un videoclip in emisiunea „Meridianele Cântecului” la Tele 7 Abc.

Doi ani mai târziu, infiinţează o trupă, alături de o colega de liceu inregistrând al doilea ei album. Au urmat numeroase concerte şi apariţii Tv astfel că in anul 2004 au participat la „Festivalul Internaţional de interpretare Fiffizano Italia” unde au primit menţiune specială din partea juriului.

În paralel cu activitatea ei muzicală, Russian Girl a terminat Facultatea de Drept Din Braşov.
Deşi a mai fost implicată in alte proiecte artistice, care nu s-au finalizat insa, a visat mereu să cânte solo.
Anul 2010 i-a implinit acest vis cu un nou proiect dance club, un sound russian minimal tech. In 2009, a new fresh name arise in Romanian music – ALICE (Russian Girl).
Advised by her family who recognized her talent at an early age, ALICE began to sing and has been taking canto & piano lessons. Proving that music is more than a hobby, ALICE graduated Art School. Wishing to alternate the romantic nature of an artist with something more practical, ALICE graduated Law In Brasov.

In 2003 si 2005 acest contract a fost prelungit pentru ca ambele parti au fost multumite de acesta colaborare.

Iulie 2000 apare primul single si videoclip “Fat Frumos”. Acesta piesa a socat publicul romanesc fiind retinuta si agreeata de copii, tineri , oameni maturi dar si persoane in virsta . Tot in acesta perioada apare primul album“Sorel”.

In 2001 apare maxi-single-ul Fill-Fill de pe care (fapt unic pina in acest moment) au fost extrase 2 single-uri . La piesele “Vand Fan” si “Eterna si Fascinanta Romanie” au fost facute deasemenea videoclipuri. In 2002 apare albumul Goanga si doua noi clipuri : “Goanga” si “Din Dragoste”. In 2003 Ca$$a Loco face prima piesa in care colaboreaza cu o voce feminina: ”E rindul tau”, videoclip realizat de Andreea Paduraru. Acesta piesa apare la rindul ei pe albumul “De Senzatie” – 2004 . “Ce Bine Imi Pare Ca Ai Luat Teapa” si “American Dream” sunt inca doua single-uri de succes de pe acest album.

In 17 noiembrie 2005 s-a lansat cel mai nou album Ca$$a Loco – “Mergi Blat”. Primul videoclip de pe acest album e deja prezent pe posturile de tv specialitate.

Data de 25 noiembrie aduce un alt lucru inedit de la Ca$$a Loco. Un roman de dragoste scris de Leonard Muha. Acesta se numeste “Un Rol Pentru Andra” – editura Polirom.

Alte lucruri importante despre Ca$$a Loco:

• unica trupa romanesca care nu canta despre dragoste, sentimente, “ai venit si m-ai parasit”, prezenta in singurul top romanesc autorizat si agreat, RT100, care a avut zeci de prezente pe locuri fruntase si doua piese in top10: “Vand Fan” – 2001 (locul 2) si “Ce bine imi pare ca ai luat teapa” 2003 (locul 7) . Alte piese prezente in Rt100 : “Fat Frumos”, “Eterna si Fascinanta Romanie”, “Goanga”, “Din Dragoste”, “American Dream”, “Cea Mai De Treaba Fata Din Lume”.

• Clipul piesei “Vand Fan” a fost nominalizat la premiile revistei Tv Mania la sectiunea “Cel mai bun clip” al anului 2001.

• In 2001 am debutat ca prezentatori. Emisiunea prezentata de noi “Vara Ispitelor” a avut cele mai bune cote de audienta pentru o emisiune estivala. Audiente neegalate pina acum.

• 2002 a insemnat continuarea carierei de televiziune. Serialul Ca$$a Loco (difuzat in perioada aprilie – iunie dupa o idee originala Ca$$a Loco) a avut 14 episoade si este primul sitcom pentru tineret din Romania. Un lucru foarte bun a fost faptul ca pe linga publicul clasic Ca$$a Loco (4-18 ani) serialul s-a bucurat de un succes apreciabil si in rindul altor categorii de virsta sau sociale. Compania Coca-Cola prin marca sa Fanta a fost partener la acest serial, spiritul produsului respectiv fiind potrivit cu cel din “Ca$$a Loco”.

In 2010 revin pe piata muzicala cu un nou single, de data aceasta alaturi de Casa de discuri Roton. Piesa, “La mall”, este asa cum ne-au obisnuit, plina de umor, pozitiva, pe care nu o poti asculta acasa, in masina, la serviciu sau la mall, fara sa razi. De aceasta data, au fost luati in collimator mall-istii, adica cei care practica un singur sport: mersul la mall. Ii recunosti usor pentru ca le plac lucrurile kitch-oase si aripioarele picante. “La mall” este deja un succes, atat in mediul online unde a adunat sute de mii de vizualizari, cat si pe radio fiind foarte apreciata de Dj-i. Si Cassa Loco nu se opresc aici. Cei 3 “nebuni frumosi” au revenit si intentioneaza sa stea in lumina reflectoarelor o buna perioada de timp.

Ca$$a Loco means Bogdan Muresan, Cosmin Tudoran and Leonard Muha – one of the funniest and craziest musical projects that Romania has to offer. And yes, they are Loco indeed!

They released their first single called „Fat-Frumos”(Prince Charming) in 2000, and their style that mixes hip-hop with satire (sometimes even self-oriented) and hilarious and dynamic lyrics made them an instant success.
In 2001 they releasted the maxi-single „Fill-Fill” that actually (and this is and unprecedented event so far) produced not one, but TWO hit singles – “Vand Fan” and “Eterna si Fascinanta Romanie”, each accompenied by a video. The next album was called „ Goanga” and was released in 2002 and the third – „De Senzatie” in 2004.

By now, the range of subjects stinged by the band’s sharp and ruthless sarcasm was quite wide. The songs „Goanga” , „Din Dragoste” („Goanga” album excerpts) and ”E rindul tau”, “Ce Bine Imi Pare Ca Ai Luat Teapa”and “American Dream” („De Senzatie” album excerpts) were all huge hits and made three Locos a musical entity to be feared.

They like to describe themselves as „the only romanian band that doesn’t sing about „come to me, be with me, why did you leave me” kinds of subjects and that actually managed to produce quite a few chart-toppers”.

Fast forward to 2010 – after being „good boys” for a little while, Ca$$a Loco are ready to get back in the game, funnier and crazier than ever. „La Mall”, their new single, is impposible to listen without bursting into laughter, as the three guys analyse and make fun of a very special „creature” – the romanian mall-goer, from the obsession for spicy wings to kitschy clothes and tons of hair gel. All the trademarks of a „maller” are ruthlessly satirised in the unique Ca$$a Loco style.
What can we say, they’ve done it again! And may they never stop, because they’re just too smart and funny!

Primul show live Class a avut loc pe 16 noiembrie 1994, in discoteca Why Not, din Bucuresti, cu ocazia unui bal al bobocilor, unde au interpretat singura lor piesa, de atunci : Syncronize.

La scurt timp, a urmat colaborarea cu Scoala Vedetelor. Timp de un an, cei patru tineri au experimentat munca in echipa din televiziune si au avut sansa de a aparea lunar in emisiunea Scoala Vedeelor (regizata de Titus Munteanu), interpretand piese din repertoriul propriu. Primul succes a fost piesa Raspuns, clasata pe locul doi, in selectia finala Eurovision 1996.

In acelasi an, canta in deschiderea recitalului trupei 2UnLimited, in cadrul festivalului Cerbul de Aur, unde lanseaza A dui, doina (prima piesa etno-dance din muzica romaneasca), ce ajunge in scurt timp un mare hit. La finele anului, cu sprijinul Sfinx Experience, Class lanseaza primul album dance din Romania, intitulat Raspuns.

Intre 1997 si 1999, trupa sustine concerte in toata tara, participa la doua editii ale festivalului de muzica Mamaia, avand parte, in acelasi timp si de numeroase aparitii TV.

Pe 22 iulie 1999, sub sigla NRG!A Roton, formatia lanseaza, in clubul Maxx, din Bucuresti, al doilea album- Aproape de tine. Piesa care da titlul albumului beneficieaza de un videoclip- fiind primul din cariera trupei si totodata, primul videoclip al unor artisti romani, filmat de postul de televiziune Atomic TV.

Albumul include si alte hituri, cum ar fi: Inca o data, Danseaza in noapte si Simti Energia- piesa nominalizata la Premiile Muzicale Ballantine’s 1999, la categoria Cel mai bun cantec pop-dance.

In vara anului 2000, Class lanseaza albumul Color, cu sprijinul casei de discuri Media Pro Music. Albumul s-a vrut a fi unul inovator, care sa imbine diferite genuri muzicale: electro- pop, rock, dance. Trei piese au fost lansate ca single, Spune-mi ce simti, Toata Lumea (locul 5 in RT 100) si Mama Spunea- ultimele doua beneficiind de videoclip.

In 2001, cei patru “dau lovitura” cu primul hit- single, no. 1, intitulat Te visez mereu , extras de pe EP-ul Hipnotizat, fiind al doilea material sub egida Media Pro. Urmeaza numeroase turnee in toata tara si campanii de promovare in colaborare cu Pro FM.

Din pacate, succesul trupei, din acea perioada, este “umbrit” de decizia Mihaelei Florea de a parasi proiectul Class. Artista hotaraste sa se mute, alaturi de sotul sau, in Germania, unde incepe o cariera ca profesoara de muzica.

Anul 2002, marcheaza noi schimbari in cadrul trupei- proiectul se reintregeste, in februarie, alaturi de Anca Badiu, iar pe 24 iulie lanseaza LP-ul Intr-o zi, ultimul alaturi de Media Pro.

Albumul este unul de succes, fiind sustinut de super hiturile Intro- zi (locul 2 in RT 100) si Luna mi-a zambit (locul 1 in RT 100, timp de 7 saptamani consecutive si cea mai difuzata piesa romanesca in anul 2003-record absolut, pana atunci).

Tot in 2002, participa la finala Eurovision cu piesa Povestea unei mingi, castiga premiul MTV Romania, pentru cel mai bun videoclip dance, pentru Intr-o zi (regizat de Andreea Paduraru) si sunt nominalizati la EMA Barcelona, la categoria Best Romanian Act.

Succesele contniua la Premiile MTV Romania 2003, unde Class castiga premiile: trupa anului si best pop song- Luna mi-a zambit.

Pe 14 februarie 2004, se lanseaza, in clubul Maxx din capitala, albumul Pentru Dragoste, fiind primul material alaturi de noua casa de discuri Media Services/ CAT Music.
Piesa care da titlul LP-ului, ajunge un super hit (locul 1 in RT 100, timp de 2 saptamani consecutive) si castiga best pop song, in cadrul Premiilor MTV Romania 2004. Din varianta re-editata a albumului este extras pe single, piesa Singura Iubire (Locul 2 in RT 100, locul 1 la Europa FM).
In 2005, videoclipul piesei Na, na, na (regizat de Dragos Buliga) si extras de pe albumul Evo (al doilea alaturi de CAT Music), face furori la toate posturile muzicale din tara. Ce pot sa fac- al doilea single din “perioada Evo”, este totodata, ultimul in formula cu Anca Badiu. In mai 2006, solista hotaraste sa intrerupa colaborarea cu formatia Class, pentru a se dedica unei cariere solo.

Urmeaza o perioada mai linistita, din punct de vedere muzical- cei trei membrii ramasi in trupa: Mihaela, Vlad si Florin dedicandu-se proiectelor personale.

Albumul cu numarul opt si ultimul in colaborare cu CAT Music, lansat in vara anului 2007- intitulat Infinit este sustinut de doua videoclipuri: super hitul Ocean in Desert (locul 7 in RT 100, Locul 1 la MTV Ro Chart, Locul 1 la Europa Fm) si Castel de nisip (highest new entry in RT 100, locul 45).
Urmeaza o perioada lunga, foarte incarcata de concerte, festivaluri si turnee in toata tara…dupa care o noua perioada de pauza, timp in care Class se retrage in studio, pentru a lucra la noi piese proprii, dar si pentru colaborari cu alti artisti.

Dupa mai bine de doi ani, timp in care, membrii trupei s-au dedicat vietii de familie, revin pe piata muzicala din Romania, in vara anului 2010 cu un nou single intitulat Legal si cu un nou nou contract semnat cu label-ul Roton.

In the fall of 1994, four enthusiastic young people were laying the foundation of a new musical project – Class. Brother and sister Vlad and Mihaela Cernea together with Mihaela Florea and Florin Cojocaru chose carefully when it came to naming their project, and “Class” seemed to be the perfect option. Class served both as a catchy name in romanian and in english and somewhat of a “musical creed” of the new band’s mission, which was a “classy” approach to dance music.

Their first public appearance was on the 16th of november 1994, at a high school dance, where they performed their only track at that moment – “Syncronise”.
Shortly after, they started their collaboration with “Scoala Vedetelor” (The School of Stars) a well known romanian TV show. For over a year they had monthly TV appearances, and had the opportunity to get their songs heard. Thus, the first big hit came to be – the track “Raspuns” (Answer) , the first runner up at the 1996 National Eurovision Song Selection.

The same year they oppened for 2Unlimited and they released the FIRST romanian etno-dance track – “A Dui, Doina”- which soon became a huge success. Naturally, an album followed, and not just any album, the FIRST romanian dance album. Entitled “Raspuns” the LP was released with the support of Sfinx Experience at the and of 1996.

After another two years of concerts all around the country, in 1999, they released their second album “Aproape de Tine” under the label NRG!A ROTON. The track that named the album was also the first single released and was accompanied by a video, the first of their career. The album featured a number of hits – „Inca o data”, „Danseaza in noapte” and „Simti Energia”.

In the summer of 2000 they released their third album -“Color” – an inovating material featuring a fusion of electro-pop, rock and dance. The album produced three hit singles: “Spune-mi ce simti”, “Toata Lumea” (no. in RT 100) and “Mama Spunea”.

In the summer of 2001 they released thier first No.1 hit single – “The visez mereu” – off the “Hipnotizat” EP. Unfortunately their succes was somehow shadowed by Mihaela Florea’s decision to leave the band and move to Germany with her husband. But the “Class” story wasn’t going to stop there, although they were down one member.

Anca Badiu was the one that filled the empty spot and with her came a new EP entitled “Intr-o zi”, which became a huge success, featuring the smash-hit singles: “Intr-o zi”, that won the “Best Video” award at the MTV Romanian Music Awards (no.2 in RT 100) and “Luna mi-a zambit” (No.1 in RT 100, for no less than 7 consecutive weeks, becoming the most aired song of 2003).
The same year they were one of the nominees for “Best Romanian Act” at the European Music Awards held at Barcelona.
The band seemed to be on a winning spree since in 2003 new awards came their way – “Best Band” and “Best Pop Song” at the MTV Romanian Music Awards.

Two successful albums later ( “Pentru Dragoste” in 2004 and “Evo” in 2005) Anca decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career. And after the rollercoaster of releases and accomplishments of the past few years, a quieter time was more than welcome for Mihaela, Vlad and Florin.
Class released the eighth album of their career (the first as a 3-piece-band) in the summer of 2007. Entitled “Infinit”, the album produced two hit singles – the smash hit “Ocean in Desert” and “Castel de Nisip” (highest new entry in RT 100, no.45).
After a long period of time filled with concerts and tours it was time for Class to take a new hiatus from the limelight, to work on some individual projects but mostly to devote themselves to their families.

After more than two years away from their fans, 2010 is the year of the COMEBACK! With a new hit single – “Legal” – and a new record deal with ROTON. Class is ready to take on the charts!

Astazi este o tanara artista in plina ascensiune ce doreste sa aduca un suflu nou pe piata romaneasca si internationala prin piese atent selectate ce urmeaza sa faca parte din primul ei album pe care il pregateste impreuna cu Casa de discuri ROTON.

Doua dintre cele mai recente premii pe care Alina le-a castigat anul acesta in luna mai sunt : premiul I la Festivalul International « Discovery » (Varna, Bulgaria) si premiul III la Festivalul International „Asia Music Festival” (Beijing, China).

Stilul extrem de fresh si inovativ pe care ea il implementeaza pieselor ce le interpreteaza va fi cu siguranta pe placul publicului amator de calitate de pretutindeni.

Anul 2008 a fost un an foarte prolific pentru trupa FLY PROJECT. Brasil, piesa realizata in colaborare cu Anca Parghel si Tom Boxer a fost declarata cea mai buna piesa romaneasca in cadrul premiilor RMA, suucesul ei depasid granitele tarii, piesa fiind licentiata in tari ca Rusia, Brasil, Spain, Netherlands, Turkey, Bulgaria, Grece, Serbia, Moldova si altele. Vocea inconfundabila a Ancai, versurile regge ale lui Tudor dublate de beat-ul de club a facut din piesa Brasil un hit international, radiourile indragostindu-se de ea.

Tot in 2008, Tudor & Dan au spart barierele musicale internationale, fiind printre putinele trupe romanesti care au lansat un album pe piata muzicala din Japonia, tara recunoscuta pentru conservatorismul muzical. Deal-ul a fost realizat de catre label-ul Roton cu una din cele mai importante label-uri japoneze, Pony Canyon

In vara 2009, FP au lansat un nou single Unisex. Videoclipul foarte provocat, demn de numele piesei, piesa Unisex a aprezentat publicului o latura mai provocatoare a celor doi baieti.
Pentru vara 2009 au decis sa schimbe registrul promovand o piesa care se numeste UNISEX. Sound-ul mult mai agresiv, versuri pline de atitudine, un videoclip provocator, cam acestea sunt ingredintele care ar descrie cel mai bine piesa UNISEX. Acest nou single anunta un nou album care cel mai probabil va fi disponibil in primavara 2010.
Noua piesa insa a reprezentat si un rebranding pentru trupa care a decis sa isi mareasca ofere publicului atat show-uri live incendiare cat si Dj set.

In februarie 2010 FLY PROJECT au lansat un nou single – “Mandala”. Dupa ce vara trecuta au fost “Unisex”, experimentand si sfidand tabuuri cu piesa cu acelasi nume, baietii nostri cei “fly” au reusit sa se reinventeze cu “Mandala” – o piesa absolut irezistibila, care a fost extrem de bine primita atat in tara cat si peste hotare. Secretul succesului acestei piese? Un mix intre dorinta de a integra noi elemente in muzica lor si vocalurile cu teme obsesive devenite deja o emblema Fly Project.
Videoclipul pentru “Mandala” a fost lansat in luna aprilie si ii prezinta pe Tudor si Dan incojurati de o multime de fete care de care mai frumose Desi in clipul “Mandala” apar intr-o ipostaza extrem de relaxata, Tudor si Dan lasandu-se rasfatati de superbele fete, aparitiile live FLY PROJECT sunt la fel de energice, ba chiar putem spune ca devin din ce in ce mai explozive. Formula de concert FLY PROJECT beneficiaza de prezenta a 4 dansatoare focoase, care ridica de fiecare data temperatura show-urilor la cote incediare.

FLY PROJECT au devenit sinomi cu show-urile de exceptie, cu coregrafii dinamice si explosive, cu dansatoare sexy si provocatoare. Cu peste 2000 de show-uri la activ, peste 10 premii importante castigate in Romania, precum si nominalizarea la premiile MTV European Music Awards din 2008, fac din FLY PROJECT una din trupele care dicteaza treand-urile in muzica romaneasaca.

With an irresistible beat and haunting vocals Fly Project is one romanian electro act you won’t forget very soon. Fly Project are the very talented Tudor Ionescu and Dan Denes and their first single, titled RAISA, was one of the most popular hits of the summer 2006 in Romania.

In 2007 they launched K-tinne, another instant success which landed many music awards including the Romanian Top Hits Best Dance and Romanian Top Hits Best Song awards. This was just a prequel to their second album which made record sales and broke all booking milestones, managing to secure the most concert bookings in one year.

The year 2008 brings Fly Project European fame. Brasil, their new hit single is declared in 2008 the best single at the Romanian Music Awards and skyrockets to the top of the international charts. Performed featuring Anca Parghel & Tom Boxer, the song managed to secure first places in the music charts from Rusia, Brasil, Spain, Netherlands, Turkey, Bulgaria, Grece, Serbia, Moldova and many more.

Also, in the year 2008, the boys achieved success on the musical market of Asia lunching an Best Of named Raisa – Angels Na Na Na in Japan. The deal was made through the romanian record company Roton and Pony Canyon Japan, one of the biggest names in the music industry from Eastern Asia. The album made an immediate impact and in 2009.

The summer of 2009 marked the release of a new single – Unisex. Accompanied by a very sensual video, quite worthy of the track’s name, Unisex showed a more experimental and daring side of Fly Project.

After that, they decided to take the experiment to the next level and mix it with a little bit of their musical roots. This merge of the old and the new Fly Project resulted into a mesmerising track – Mandala, which ignited the charts in February 2010. The song featured the same obsessive vocals that have been a Fly Project trademark ever since their debut, and became a smash hit both in Romania and abroad. The video for Mandala was released in April and showed our two fly guys surrounded by quite a few beautiful girls and looking more confident than ever. And with good reason, Mandala is definitely going to be one of the hottest songs of 2010… in fact, it already is.

Fly Project is known to have some very impressive, dynamic and explosive shows including a substantial content of entertainement and an exceptional choreography. Till now, Fly Project has performed over 2000 live concerts and has an award record of over 10 major prizes of the Romanian Music Industry. Also the group was nominated at the MTV European Music Awards 2008 for their hit Brasil and at the Russian Music Awards 2008.

RADIO KILLER reprezinta proiectul produs de Smiley si colegii sai de la studioul HAHAHA Production.

Lansarea single-ului “Voila” a coincis cu lansarea campaniei de dezvaluirea a identitatii proiectului, publicul fiind provocat sa raspunda la intrebarea “ cine sunt RADIO KILLER?”. Dupa multe zvonuri legate de identitatea membrilor trupei, componentii proiectului au fost demascati unul cate unul.

La scurt timp de la debut, RADIO KILLER au spart granitele tarii, piesa “Voila” fiind difuzata pe radiouri din Rusia, Ucraina, Germania, Austria, Elevetia, Grecia, Italia, Turcia, Ucraina. “Voila” a fost in topul preferintelor radiourilor rusesti, doua saptamani la rand fiind NO 1 in topul difuzat de Europa Plus. Rusii s-au indragostit de versurile triste ale piesei, videoclipul avand o contributie majora la succesul piesei.

In September 2009 a new musical project broke the Romanian charts. With an unconventional name & innovative sound, supported by the lyrics full of depth, RADIO KILLER became the best debut project of 2009.

RADIO KILLER’s first single, “Voila“ was a hit single in Romania, the rating measurement system developed by Nielsen Media Research showed that “Voila” was the most broadcasted song in Romania in the past 21 weeks, being supported by radio stations and music tv stations.

RADIO KILLER is the studio project produced by Smiley and his team from HaHaHaProduction.
In addition to the single “Voila”, RADIO KILLER also got the public’s attention with the campaign “who is Radio Killer?“. After a lot of rumours regarding Radio Killer’s identity, the members of the group are being revealed one by one one.

In septembrie 2008, Octav ii face cunostinta lui Paul cu Claudiu, un chitarist foarte talentat si ravnit de multe trupe, pentru o eventuala colaborare cu The Marker, iar baietii decid sa incerce, un pretext bun fiind inscrierea in concursul Global Battle of the Bands, cel mai mare concurs de muzica live din lume. Acum The Marker, completati de piesa lipsa, incepea sa sune mai inchegat iar Paul era mai relaxant si focalizat mai mult pe interpretare vocala. Cu curaj si incredere se inscriu in concurs (GBOB) si fac o impresie foarte buna si castiga Finala romaneasca. Ulterior participa la Marea finala, la Londra, unde fac si acolo e impresie buna fiind remarcati de foarte multa lume buna, printre care si Glam Matlock, basistul si liderul trupei Sex Pistols, care le inmaneaza trofeul de bronz “Cea mai buna trupa romaneasca noua”. Concursul GBOB avea sa impringa trupa mult in fata si in atentia presei si producatorilor muzicali.

In vara 2009 The Marker semneaza contract de productie cu casa de discuri Roton cu care vor produce primul album The Marker.
Dupa ce au reprezenat Romania la Londra, in cardul GBOB (Global Battle of Bands), baietii se prezinta la preselectia pentru Festivalul International Cerbul de Aur, preselectie de care reusesc sa treaca, iar acum stim cu totii deja, au adus Romaniei Cerbul de Argint la editia din 2009 a festivalului desfasurat in fiecare an in Piata Sfatului din Brasov.

Paul a inceput sa cante la chitara la varsta de 14 ani, iar la 15 ani s-a inscris la canto la Scoala Populara de Arte Brasov, la prof. Cristina Puia, pe care o absolveste dupa 4 ani.
Octav a inceput sa cante la 7 ani, inca din clasa I, la vioara, instrument care l-a studiat pana in liceu. Intre timp s-a indragostit de tobe si nu si-a continuat studiile in domeniul viorii.
Andrei a cantat primul cantec la 9 ani, la chitara acustica, iar de la 10 ani a inceut sa ia cursuri de chitara bass.

Claudiu a inceput sa studieze chitara la 10 ani, iar la 14 ani incepe sa studieze chitara electrica, fiind indrumat de unii din cei mai bine cotati chitaristi romani. In 2006,2007 si 2008 castiga premiul I in concursuri de chitara electrica, si tot in 2008 incepe studiile in cadrul Facultatii de Muzica Bucuresti.

English Version

It all started towards the end of 2007 when Paul Mates (lead vocals, guitar) began to dream of a band in which he could play in. Earlier, that same year, Paul, together with Andrei Prodan (backing vocals, Bass) quit the band in which they had been for 5 years.

In January 2008, Paul and Andrei put together a new band, but this time they decided on a new form and a different style.

Finding a good drummer wasn’t easy, but they had a rough idea of who they were looking for. They met Octav Capota about 2 years earlier, while he was performing at a concert alongside Claudiu Ursache. Claudiu had been invited by the organizers to perform a guitar solo.

To their joy, Octav responded positively to their invitation of joining the band. Thus The Marker was formed.
The response they got at their first concert, encouraged them to further pursue their dream and work harder on promoting The Marker. They started working on recording their first single, which they launched together with their website. The result was awesome, with around 4,000 hits, only in the first month.

This opens doors for them and in the upcoming months they will perform at different venues. Throughout this period the need for a second guitarist became obvious. When they decided to participate at the “Global Battle of the Bands,” they asked Octav ’s friend, Claudiu to join the band, and he did.

Their greatest accomplishment so far, came in October 2008, when they were declared the winners of Romania’s “Battle of the Bands” at the Hard Rock Café final in Bucharest.

In 2009 they signed a contract with Roton, a very well-known Record Company from Romania. In September 2009 they won The Silver Tag at The Golden Tag Festival, one of the most important festivals from south-estern Europe.

Convinsi ca pot reusi pe scena mare, isi schimba numele din Take five in Proconsul, si compun primele piese originale. Materialul care contine si piesele De la rusi…, Barosanu’ se bucura de succes imediat.

In 2000, cu piesa Cerul obtin locul 3 la festivalul de la Mamaia, sectiunea creatie.

Este o perioada in care lucrurile mergeau greu pentru formatie, ei fiind nevoiti sa vanda din instrumente pentru a putea ramane impreuna (acest moment a inspirat piesa „Fara prieteni”). Fara stirea colegilor, Dragos Dinca trimite piesa la preselectie la Mamaia si surprinzator pentru ei se si califica.

In acelasi an, apare albumul Tatuaj in care sunt incluse piesele Cerul, Fata cu tatuaj, De la Rusi.

Proconsul este prima trupa din Romania care castiga trofeul Cerbul de aur.

In anul 2001, Proconsul lanseaza un nou album: „Mi-ai luat inima”. Acest album a avut un succesc enorm cu singel-uri ca: Zbor, Mi-ai luat inima, Cerul, Despre tine, Spune-mi despre noi.

In 2002 Karcsi paraseste formatia, locul lui fiind luat de Florin Barbu, ex Blazzaj, Timpuri Noi. Primul concert in noua componenta a fost pe 1 Martie, la Pitesti.

In 2002, albumul „Mi-ai luat inima” se transforma in album de aur, datorita celor peste 50.000 unitati vandute. In acelasi an, impreuna cu copii Scolii Americane lanseaza single-ul „Mama Terra“, ocazie cu care se reediteaza albumul „Mi-ai luat inima” intr-o editie speciala, avand aceasta piesa bonus track.

In 2003 apare al patrulea produs „Proconsul 10 Povesti” iar single-ul „Nu mi-e bine fara tine” are un videoclip inedit.

Urmeaza apoi in 2004 albumul „5” care marcheaza cinci ani de Proconsul. Albumul contine numai piese de 5 stele ale celor cinci membrii.

In 2005 concertul „Balade.Pentru tine” sustinut la Teatrul National din Bucuresti se bucura de o mare apreciere a publicului.

Au urmat „Da mai departe” in 2007 si in 2009, „Sens unic”.

Din luna iunie a lui 2009, Proconsul il coopteaza la chitara bass pe James Alexander Lascu, un American la Bucuresti! Acum Proconsul inseamna : Robert Anghelescu (clape, voce), Bodo (voce), Dragos Dinca (chitara, voce), James Alexander Lascu (chitara bass), Valentin Petricenco (tobe) si Liuban Gordievski (clape).

2009 este un an plin pentru formatie. Baietii au lucrat la albumul “Sens Unic” pe care l-au lansat intr-un concert extraordinar pe 28 noiembrie la Sala Palatului, in care au pregatit si doua duete de exceptie cu Marcel Pavel si Dida Dragan. “Sens unic” face dovada maturitatii trupei, ajunsa la 10 ani de activitate. Albumul contine 10 piese deosebite, iar primul extras pe single este piesa “Sunt al tau“.

Multe premii si distinctii de genul Cel mai bun grup al anului, Cea mai buna piesa a anului, Cea mai buna voce masculina a anului, Cel mai bun basist…completeaza palmaresul trupei, dar cel mai pretios trofeu dintre toate este dragostea aratata de fanii lor in toti acesti ani.

In 1999, even if they were singing all together for a long time, they become well-known in Romania because of their maxi-single „From the russians…”

In 2000, they win the 3rd place at Mamaia Festival for their great hit: Cerul (The sky). In the same year, their first album, Tatoo, is realeased.

Proconsul is the first romanian group who wins the Golden Stag Trophee at Brasov, the most important festival in South-Eastern Europe.

In 2001 they had another great album, „You took my heart”. Until 2002 they sold over 50.000 units and Roton, their record company, gives them The Golden Disc Award.

In 2004 they release „Proconsul – 10 stories” and in 2005 the anniversary album „5” for 5 years of Proconsul.

In 2005, the concert from The National Theatre, „Balads.For you” was very appreciated by the fans and critics.

In 2007, they had another album, „Give forward” and 2009 was the year of „Unic sense”. They also gad a great concert in november even if there were some changes in the group. In june 2009, James Alexander Lascu became a member of Proconsul .Now, Proconsul means: Robert Anghelescu (keyboard, voice), Bodo (voice), Dragos Dinca (guitar, voice), James Alexander Lascu (bass), Valentin Petricenco (drums) si Liuban Gordievski (keyboard).

English Version

Fără Zahăr (No sugar) is a romanian mix between a comedy group and a music band. Its genres of music are varied: rock, hip-hop, folk, latino. The lyrics are a satire of romanian social life, people living in the countryside, fashion trends, TV shows and crime news.

The band started in 2001 as a two students folk group and in 2006 evolved to four members: Bobi Dumitras (voice, acoustic guitar), Bobo Burlacianu (voice, electric guitar), George Maxim (bass guitar) and Alex Neagu (drums).

Fara Zahar (No sugar) has three albums:

The descent of Penes the Turkey (2008)

They also have 8 music videos. Their first song was a parody of Eminem’s hit single, Stan.

Besides music, Bobo and Bobi, the two founding members, also have a column in a cultural newspaper called „Suplimentul de cultura”, and in 2006 they published a book called „You didn’t ask, No Sugar answers”.
In autumn 2009 they came with a new single, 3 PM which also had a great video. For the summer of 2010, they Fara Zahar have a new surprise: a fresh new single: Lugu, lugu.
